Four
CIAA Teams and Morehouse Get NCAA Playoff Bids

Four members of the CIAA and SIAC Champion Morehouse have received
bids to the NCAA Division II Men's Basketball Playoffs.
CIAA Champion Bowie State, Virginia Union, Johnson C. Smith
and Shaw will play in the South Atlantic Regional. Morehouse
will travel to Winter Park, FL for the South Regional.
Eight regional tournaments, consisting of eight teams each,
will be conducted March 14, 15 and 17.
Quarterfinal matchups have Bowie State (26-4) meeting Lenoir-Rhyne
(22-7), Virginia Union (18-10) facing Kinnesaw State (24-9)
and Johnson C. Smith (20-8) facing Shaw (20-8) at Columbus,
GA.
Morehouse (23-7) will meet Eckerd (22-6) Thursday at Rollins
College in Winter Park, FL.
The eight regional champions will advance to the finals at
Jenkins Arena in Lakeland, Florida, March 26, 27 and 29.
