Greensboro, NC - MEAC Commissioner Dennis Thomas has announced
the launching of a new tournament web site - www.meachoops.com.
The site was designed for all MEAC fans and supporters as their
place on the World Wide Web for all tournament information.
“This is an avenue that we can use to help build our tournament,
giving fans access for information and the ability to purchase
tickets,” stated Thomas.
The site is loaded with historical information, along with the schedule of
events and it will also serve as the official site for results and
statistics during the tournament.
Thomas also stated, “The site also gives individuals who might not be
familiar with the MEAC, a historical picture of our great academic
institutions, along with a legacy of our athletic prominence and after
reviewing our web site, hopefully they will want to attend the tournament,
or visit one of our premier institutions.”
Fans can also look up the official tournament hotels and visit Richmond
Visitors Bureau for site seeing tours while in the city.
