Shaw Bears Out Roar Livingstone Blue Bears

Salisbury, NC-Kenyon Booker recorded his twelfth double-double of the season
scoring 25 points and 13 rebounds as the Shaw Bears (12-5, 4-3 CIAA) roared
to a hard fought 70-61 victory over the Livingstone Blue Bears (5-11, 0-7
CIAA) in New Trent Gymnasium.
Livingstone trailed 37-35 at halftime despite the impressive 50% shooting
from Shaw. The Blue Bears were able to cut a 10-point deficit in the second
half but fell short at the end.
Livingstone was led in scoring by Jerome LaGrange who scored 17 points and
grabbed 7 rebounds. Michael Dundas and JC Henry chipped in with 10 points
apiece.
Shaw placed three players in double figures along with Booker as Anthony
Greenup and Harrell Butler scored 14 points respectively.
Livingstone will be in action again on January 30, 2003 as the Bears travel
to Lawrenceville, Virginia to Take on the Tigers of St. Paul College.
