Bonner's
last second three gives Stillman first win

TUSCALOOSA--- After starting the season with an 0-6 record the
Stillman Tigers got their first victory, beating the Belhaven
Blazers 81-78 on a last second Micah Bonner three pointer in overtime.
Bonner led all scorers with 19 points. Corey Stallworth followed
with 18 points, making four of five three point attempts. Dallas
Green added 17 points and Jermaine Young scored 13 for Stillman.
The Blazers had six double digit scores. Ahmad Moore and Kirt
Arceneaux led Belhaven with 14 points each, Scott Pughsley followed
with 13, Dennis Dupree and Chris Smith scored 11 points respectively
and Chris Slater added 10. With this loss Belhaven falls to a
4-7 mark.
The Tigers jumped out to an early four point lead, but Belhaven
took a 35-30 lead into halftime.
Stillman outscored Belhaven 40-30 in the second half sending
the game into overtime. In overtime Stillman came back from a
six point deficit for the win.
The Tigers will return to action Saturday, Dec. 14 as they travel
to Clinton, MS to face Mississippi College. Tip off is scheduled
for 3 pm.
