WSSU Rams to hold final scrimmage

Winston-Salem, NC - The Winston-Salem State University Rams will hold their final preseason scrimmage, Saturday, August 18 at 1:00 p.m. as they prepare for the season opener against Carson-Newman. Ninth-year head coach Kermit Blount and his staff are looking to use Saturday's scrimmage as a way to evaluate their personnel in a game-like situation and make any necessary adjustments. The Rams are coming off of back-to-back CIAA titles in 1999 and 2000 and have been tabbed to walk away with the crown once again.
In addition, Coach Blount will begin holding his weekly press conference on Wednesday, August 22 at 11 a.m. in room 142 of the Anderson Center located on the campus of Winston-Salem State University.
