Texas Southern Football Team Irons Out the Kinks

Houston-TX-TSU's football team finished their
second day of two-a-day practice looking sharper than its first according to Head
Coach Bill Thomas. The team practiced from 9 -11 a.m. and again from 4 - 6 p.m.
"The effort is there but we were a little slow on Monday, it was basically
a day for the players to feel their way through," Thomas said. "Today,
they are looking more crisp. We are not ready to play a game yet, but we are getting
there."
Quarterbacks Coach Jarrett Harper, said returning starter Adam Lamb and true freshman
Chris Goode had impressive practices.
"Lamb is performing well and is doing all the things that should be done
in order to have an exceptional season," Harper said. "Goode had a great
practice. He was on task in every drill."
