S.C. State Football Practice Brief
8/22/01
Orangeburg, SC - South Carolina State's offensive line, hit hard earlier by injuries and defections, got a boost Wednesday when junior defensive end Sherron Milhouse was moved to guard.
The Bulldogs also announced the return of All-MEAC center Jermaine Hannon to drills. Hannon had been out nursing a sore ankle.
Milhouse, a native of Salley, is expected to step in and start at the right guard position in place of injured senior Kory Campbell, who may miss the season with a shoulder injury.
Milhouse, who missed most of last season due to a shoulder injury, played in eight games, with three starts, at defensive end as a freshman for the Bulldogs in 1999.
S.C. State's Wednesday practice, the first of one-a-day workouts due to the start of classes, was held under the lights, beginning at 8 p.m. The Bulldogs will also workout Thursday at 8 p.m.
