Morehouse College Football Team Hosts Media Day

Atlanta, GA - The Morehouse College Maroon Tiger football team, under the leadership of 3rd year head coach Anthony Jones, will host its annual "Media Day" beginning at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 18 at the B.T. Harvey Satdium on the Morehouse campus. Returning from last year are 50 lettermen, including 21 starters.
Morehouse is expected to be a strong contender for the SIAC championship despite losing team leaders, defensive back Shawn Caldwell and linebacker Isaac Keys (presently in camp with the Minnesota Vikings), who both graduated in May, 2001. Taking on key leadership roles this year are senior quarterback Chavalrik Daughtry and junior middle linebacker John Grant.
