Clark Atlanta to host "Picture & Family Fun Day"

Atlanta, GA…On Saturday, August 18, 2001, the
Clark Atlanta University (CAU) Department of Athletics, the CAU Athletics Booster
Association and WCLK 91.9 FM will sponsor “Picture & Family Fun Day” for the 2001
CAU Football Team. The event will be held at Panther Stadium on the CAU Campus
and begins at 9 a.m. and concludes at 12 noon.
In addition to featuring official team and individual photographs of the Panther
Football Squad, “Picture & Family Fun Day” will also be a day full of other activities.
For example, coaches and players will be available for interviews, autographs
and personal pictures. Fans will have the opportunity to test their knowledge
about CAU Sports and win prizes. WCLK will be broadcasting live and the Mighty
Panther Marching Band will provide music for the event.
The event will also feature a football skills enhancement mini-clinic. Conducted
by the CAU Coaching Staff and Players, the mini-clinic is free and open to all
youth ages 8 to 16. “Picture & Family Fun Day” will conclude with lunch at the
stadium.
In the event of rain, all activities will be moved to the Epps Gymnasium on
the CAU Campus.
