Staring at a fourth and nine Young found Ali Thompson for an 18-yard pick-up, moving the ball near mid-field. Young then rushed for six yards and completed another pass to Thompson for nine-yards.

The Stillman defense was in a bend but don't break mode and began to stiffen as it stopped Wilson for a one-yard loss. With 22 seconds remaining in the game Young tried to hook up with Wilson in the end zone but the pass was intercepted by defensive back James Patrick.
